Governed by volunteers and supported by community donations, the American Red Cross is a nationwide network of more than 900 chapters and Blood Services regions dedicated to saving lives and helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Led by more than one million volunteers and 32,000 employees, the Red Cross annually mobilizes relief to families affected by more than 67,000 disasters, trains almost 12 million people in lifesaving skills and exchanges more than a million emergency messages for U.S. military service personnel and their families. The Red Cross is the largest supplier of blood and blood products to more than 3,000 hospitals across the nation and also assists victims of international disasters and conflicts at locations worldwide.

HEART OF FLORIDA UNITED WAY
A volunteer-based organization, Heart of Florida United Way brings individuals and groups together in a community-wide effort to help people. It is a local nonprofit organization that raises funds through an annual campaign held at companies and organizations throughout Central Florida. The funds raised help a wide variety of local health and human service organizations in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties (Florida).
HEARTS WITH HANDS INC
Hearts With Hands, Inc. is a Christian, nondenominational, humanitarian, non-profit 501 (c) 3, charitable organization providing physical, spiritual, medical, economic and other necessary aid to victims of poverty, natural disaster, or famine. The goal of Hearts With Hands, Inc. is to help ANYONE in need with the necessities of life, such as food, water, shelter, clothing and heat; regardlesss of race, religion, or ethnic creed. Hearts With Hands, Inc. is driven by a force consisting mostly of volunteers and derives all current funding and supplies entirely from donations, both private and corporate. The purpose of Hearts With Hands Inc. is to help those in need, relieve suffering, build a better community outreach program, and help those in our community that would not be eligible for assistance at other nonprofit agencies in the area. Hearts With Hands, Inc. was founded in 1992 in response to Hurricane Andrew (Southern Florida) and since then Hearts With Hands, Inc. has responded to almost every major disaster in the world.
NEW ORLEANS HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
The mission of New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity is:
· to build houses in partnership with sponsors, volunteers, communities, and homeowner families, whereby families are empowered to transform their own lives; and
· to eliminate poverty housing in the New Orleans area while serving as a catalyst to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.

Since 1865, The Salvation Army has been meeting needs at the point of need. The Salvation Army, a religious and charitable organization, seeks to meet the physical and spiritual needs of hurting individuals. Every statistic is a beating heart and a hungry soul that has been helped because the people of America care.
SAMARITAN'S PURSE
Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God's love through His son, Jesus Christ.
